Εκπαιδευτική Επίσκεψη Μεταπτυχιακών Φοιτητών
Την Παρασκευή 19/04/2019 πραγματοποιήθηκε επίσκεψη στο εργοστάσιο της εταιρείας Κ. Λιαρομάτης Α.Ε. στην ΒΙΠΕ Πατρών από ομάδα περίπου 12 μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών, της κατεύθυνσης «Υλικά, Κατασκευές και Γεωτεχνικά Έργα Υψηλής Επιτελεστικότητας» του προγράμματος μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών του Τμήματος Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών.
Η επίσκεψη έγινε στα πλαίσια του μαθήματος «Σχεδιασμός Κατασκευών από Χάλυβα για Ανθεκτικότητα και Επανατακτικότητα έναντι Ακραίων Δράσεων», το οποίο διδάσκεται από τον Αναπ. Καθηγητή Θεόδωρο Καραβασίλη ο οποίος και συνόδευσε τους φοιτητές.
Στα πλαίσια της επίσκεψης οι φοιτητές είχαν την ευκαιρία να ξεναγηθούν στον παραγωγικό χώρο της εταιρείας καθώς και να συνομιλήσουν με στελέχη της εταιρείας σχετικά με αντικείμενα όπως ΒΙΜ, Παραγωγικές Διαδικασίες, Τεχνολογία Συγκολλήσεων, Επιφανειακή Προστασία Μεταλλικών Κατασκευών, Ποιοτικός Έλεγχος.
Το Τμήμα ενθαρρύνει τέτοιες εκπαιδευτικές επισκέψεις, που προσφέρουν την ευκαιρία στους φοιτητές να έρθουν σε επαφή με την βιομηχανία και να ενημερωθούν στην πράξη για τον τρόπο παραγωγής και τις διαδικασίες που ακολουθούνται στην Παραγωγή Μεταλλικών Κατασκευών, οι οποίες θα αποτελέσουν αντικείμενο ενασχόληση τους στο μέλλον, ενώ, ταυτόχρονα, δημιουργούνται και παγιώνονται πεδία συνεργασίας μεταξύ του πανεπιστημίου και των εταιρειών.
